Bai Yue is the mother of Long Haochen, and the daughter of Demon God Emperor Feng Xiu.
Appearance[]
Bai Yue and Long Haochen look very similar being mother and son. Long Haochen looks like he was carved out of her appearance. She has an exceedingly beautiful appearance which could shock anyone. She has blue eyes like her son in the Manhua, whereas in the novel it's black, which is the only difference between her and Haochen's appearance.
Personality[]
Bai Yue is very kind and also has a persevering heart. She does not want to be a problem to anyone. She loves her son immensely and he means the world to her.
History[]
Her mother, which would be Haochen's grandmother, was once a priest, named Bai Lingxuan. She was also a member of a demon hunt squad. Since her childhood, she had demonstrate great talent as a priest. Within the Priest Temple, she was an existence akin to a prodigy. After becoming a demon hunter, she followed her demon hunt squad and moved through the territory of the demons freely. Her cultivation climbed higher and higher as well. Countless demon powerhouses died to their squad.
One time, they encountered a powerful enemy in their mission. The squad was basically annihilated. It was a warrior in her squad that protected her mother with his life that she managed to escape. However, the warrior died after saving her mother as well. At that time, they were still within the territory of the demons.
While her mother was very powerful, she was still a priest after all! Not only had she almost exhausted all of her spiritual energy back then, her wounds were very severe as well. She did not manage to flee very far before fainting in a forest.
It was Feng Xiu who saved her. He just happened to be inspecting the various clans. Just when he passed by, he sensed the aura of a human, which lead to him meeting Lingxuan. Back then, her wounds were very heavy. Her face was sheet-white. However, from the first moment he saw her, he was drawn to her by her gentle aura and beautiful appearance. She was a kind of beauty completely different from his race. As a result, he did the unexpected by not killing her. He instead, shirked away from responsibilities and saved her.
When Lingxuan woke up, she saw him who was under a disguise. With his cultivation, it was impossible for her to tell that he was a demon. He told her that he was also a part of a demon hunt squad, and that his companions had died on the battlefield, just like hers. He just happened to be passing by and he found her, which was how he saved her.
While Lingxuan was a demon hunter, she was extremely simple-minded. She did not doubt him at all. Under his assistance, her wounds gradually healed and they grew closer and closer. He even knew her father died in battle against his race. He couldn’t say it, because he was too afraid of losing her. Back then, he even considered abandoning the position as the emperor of the demons for her and continue like this, posing as a human the entire time. The year he spent with her also happened to be the happiest year of his life.
He tried multiple times to influence her into changing her mind, but for some reason in the end, she insisted on returning with determination he had never seen before. With no other choice, he could only accompany her to the boundary of the Temple Alliance. In her eyes back then, he was a human warrior. In order for her to not find out, he told her to return to the Priest Temple and wait for him. He would go to the Warrior Temple to tell my parents, before going to find her.
Lingxuan left reluctantly. However, what he never expected was that after parting, that was the last time they saw each other.
The reason why she insisted on returning to the alliance was because she had become pregnant with Bai Yue! She was unwilling to tell him, because she was embarrassed. He promised he should marry her once she returned to the alliance. After returning to the Priest Temple, she waited for him, waiting for him to come for her. However, he never came. He never ended up coming.
Yeah. He never went. Back then, he was only thinking about how he could continue being with Lingxuan. It was also at that moment near the boundary of the humans that his identity had been exposed for some reason. Before he could remove his disguise and the seal to cover his aura of darkness, he was under attack from two titled demon hunt squads. There originally was no reason for him to fear them with his cultivation, but in order to conceal his aura perfectly, the seal he had placed on himself was just too firm. After her mother returned to the Priest Temple, she waited for him to come. However, Bai Yue could not wait. Lingxuan was already pregnant with her and her belly grew larger and larger with each coming day. After around five months, she could no longer hide it as she had a thin figure in the first place. She told her family everything about what happened between her and you. Back then, he used the name of Feng Ling and was a warrior from the Warrior Temple. She waited for several months, but he never came, and she gave birth. While Bai Yue's grandmother and grandfather were no longer alive, her mother still had other relatives and her masters. Very soon, they asked the Warrior Temple and the Demon Hunt Squads’ Mission Tower about Feng Xiu. The answer they received was that a person like that did not exist.

Half of her bloodline had come from the Devil Dragon Clan, inheriting his aura of darkness. Only then did her mother realise that the man she had fallen in love with was actually a demon. And, because of Bai Yue's darkness element, it raised strong suspicion within the Priest Temple. They did not want her alive, because she was a descendent of a demon, and that the blood of demons flowed through her.
Her mother forbid them from taking her away no matter what. Her mother guarded her with her life. In order for her to survive, she used her own blood to replace her, using her own element to change her. She used her love to protect her life. In the end, she survived. She managed to live under her mother’s persistence out of love. However, her body was still destroyed to a certain degree. Not only did it lead to a fraile youth, it was impossible for her to cultivate as well. After giving birth to me, her mother was already feeble, and then in order to save her, she used up the last bit of essence her body possessed. When she watched her make it through the most critical moment, she finally could not last any longer. She used her own blood to write a short letter. She placed it in an embroidered pouch and hung it around her neck.
After she grew up, she read the blood letter multiple times. Back then, she did not understand what her mother was saying at all. Only after when he came and found her, brought her to the demons and told her about what happened between him and her mother did she understand what her mother was saying. However, she never told him about the letter. She didn’t want to. She wanted him to suffer from the torment and guilt for her kindness. It was him, him who made her mother suffer. It was him who made her die. So she hate him.
She was brought up by many people. He mother’s death for her touched many of her masters from the Priest Temple. They silently took up the burden of raising her. Although she could not cultivate, they took extremely good care of her, watching her grow up with each passing day. They never told her about the tragedy that her mother went through before her death either, just because they hoped she could live happily. If it was possible, they would rather she never find out about that. After all, she don’t have a vocation. She can’t take part in the war against the demons.
When she was eighteen, she met Xingyu. Although he was much older than her, every young girl revered a hero. He fell in love with her, while she also fell in love with him. Under the blessings of the masters of the Priest Temple, they married in the Knight Temple, just inside the Dragon Resisting Mountain Pass. If everything went smoothly, they would have become a happy couple. She never had any particular demands in life. She only hoped that the person who she loved who also loved her could be happy. However, just when she was most happy, he appeared.
Feng Xiu could sense his own aura in her, so he forcefully abducted her in a battle between the demons and the alliance, bringing her back to his Demon Emperor Palace.
Back then, she thought she was done for, that she would never be able to see Xingyu again. After falling into his hands, she never thought she could return alive. She was already prepared that if demons tried to rape her, she would die for Xingyu to remain pure. She held a hairpin, ready to take her own life at any time.
If it weren’t for Haochen, perhaps she would have taken her own life the moment the demons had taken her away. She just happened to have found out about his existence back then. She hadn’t even managed to tell his father. As a result, she was reluctant to die. There was no need to drag an innocent child down into the grave with her. Even if there was just the slightest possibility, she had to remain strong and survive, to give birth to him. Just like how her mother used her own life to protect her, she was willing to use her own life to protect him.
Afterwards, he told her that he was her father. He could sense the aura of her bloodline on her and he could see how she almost looked the same as her mother. From then on, he kept her in the demons’ territory for almost a year. He treated her very well, often telling her about the stories that happened between him and her mother. However, because of his lies and deception, he grew up without a mother or a father! She could not forgive him.
He was the wife of a divine knight from the Knight Temple, yet he was the daughter of the Demon God Emperor. Back then, her emotions were extremely mixed. She had no idea how to face his father. Only afterwards, as her stomach gradually swelled up, did she suddenly realise that she could not give birth to her child within the demons no matter what. As a result, she threatened him with her own life, which was why he sent her back to the alliance and why she was able to return. When she returned to the alliance, she was close to birth. She had no idea how to face his father. One reason was because of her father that she rejected, but at the end of the day, was still her father. The other was because of her beloved husband. The hatred between the humans and demons had already reached a point of no return. She did not face him. She was unable to imagine what she would do one day if her father killed her husband, or her husband killed her father. As a result, she could not face him. She could only choose to run.
After giving birth to Haochen in Odin Town, she decided to stay there. No matter how difficult it was there, she was unwilling to face everything in the outside world. She missed Xingyu, but she did not have the courage to stand before him and tell him she was the daughter of the Demon God Emperor. It was exactly because of the depth of her love that made her even more reluctant for him to go through this pain. As a result, she could only run away from him and never see him. That lasted for almost ten years!
When he came to find her, he had already become a divine knight. When she saw him again, she was unable to repress her emotions any longer, so she finally agreed to return with him, as well as tell him about Haochen's existence.
Plot[]
Bai Yue is happy as Long Haochen returns from the examination having become a Squire Knight. When Long Haochen goes to train with his new teacher Long Xingyu, she often waits for her son's visits in the weekends.
When Long Haochen comes back from Hao Yue City having become a Standard Knight, he sees Bai Yue sitting on the lap of Long Xingyu which sends him into a fit of rage as he thinks Long Xingyu is bullying his mother.
Long Xingyu restrains Bai Yue's movement and speech using his power, thus making her unable to intervene and explain and is forced to watch him fight her son. Finally after her restrains are removed she immediately embraces her son and explains that Long Xingyu is Long Haochen's father.
Thus they go to the Odin Mountain to Long Xingyu's dwelling and begin living as a family. With the Werewolf attack on the town of Odin, she is forced to part to with Long Haochen as Long Xingyu wants him to find his own wings and not grow under the protection of his parents. Bai Yue although unhappy, goes along with Long Xingyu leaves, leaving her son alone to go on his own adventures.
