Han Yu expresses an arrogant attitude when first encountered early in the series. However, he becomes more humble and patient after becoming the retainer knight of Long Haochen. He is considerate and polite to most, and remain cool headed in difficult situations.
Plot[edit | edit source]
Han Yu is introduced at the demon raid competition. He battles Haochen. He taunts Long Haochen telling him storing power against him is useless. Long Haochen rebutted saying there are no useless techniques. Long Haochen beats him during their demon raid competition match. His grandfather immediately expels him following the match, claiming he lacks Modesty and Honesty of the ten basic principles. Haochen sticks up for him telling Han Qian to give him a second chance. His grandfather offers his a second chance but only after he becomes a cortege knight under Long Haochen. After signing the contract Han Yu’s inner spiritual energy goes up from 62 to 80.
After the competition, he is seen receiving private instruction from his grandfather. Because no one in the raid team has healing abilities that will be the emphasis of Han Yu’s studies from then on.
